HACA Annual Meeting - September 16, 2007 at Haven Hill

The HACA Annual Meeting was called to order at 2:44 by Lew Smith.

Terry Arnold gave the Treasurer's report. After all expenses, HACA's year end balance as of August 1, 2007 was $10,648.33.

A Special Award of Appreciation was given to Terry Arnold for her tireless work and volunteering for HACA.

The meeting was adjourned.

A presentation was given by Patricia A. Baley, DVM, PhD. IVAS Certified Acupuncturist. She gave us an introduction to traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and demonstrated her techniques on Fum and Fi, two of Tom O'Carroll's horses. Look for a write-up on her talk in an upcoming Newsletter.

We were all treated to a real chuck wagon meal after the meeting. Steak, potatoes, beans, bisquits and peach cobler! Yummy!
